The Artists
Hairdressers are not interchangeable. Our artists each bring their own eye, technique and perspective — which is why we ask what you're looking for before we ask who's free.
Six artists. One standard.
Elena Marlowe
Co-founder & Creative Director
Elena trained across three London ateliers before co-founding the salon in 2011, and still cuts every collection look herself. Ask about her 1960s bicycle restoration — she'll talk for an hour.
Sophie Grace
Co-founder & Colour Director
Sophie's eye for tone comes from a decade backstage at London Fashion Week, mixing colour under stage lights with no room for error. She keeps a playlist for every client — ask what's on yours.
Amara Osei
Senior Stylist
Amara cuts for the texture that's actually growing out of your head, not against it. Fluent in three languages, she'll run the consultation in whichever one you're most comfortable with.
Jack Whitfield
Senior Colourist
Jack trained in Tokyo before joining the colour team, and brings a balayage precision rarely seen this far from Shibuya. He'll talk about specialty coffee far longer than he'll talk about hair.
Mia Tanaka
Stylist
Mia built her reputation on blow dries that survive a full weekend of dancing. She keeps occasion references saved on her phone — bring a picture, or borrow one of hers.
Ruby Callahan
Graduate Stylist
Ruby joined as a graduate with a focus on curl pattern and modern shaping, and is usually first in and last out. Off the clock, she's training for her second marathon.
"We hire for eye and hand, not just experience. Technique can be taught — judgement is the part we look for."
— Elena Marlowe & Sophie Grace, Co-founders
